1. Cancel future renewals
Cancel through Apple App Store, Google Play or the Household OS billing portal, depending on where you purchased. Deleting the app does not itself cancel a subscription.
2. App-store purchases
Apple or Google normally controls refunds for subscriptions purchased through its store. Requests should be made through the applicable store account and are decided under that provider’s rules and applicable law.
3. Direct purchases
For subscriptions bought directly from Household OS, contact support with the household email, payment date and reason for the request. We will assess the request promptly and apply any mandatory statutory remedy.
4. Faulty or misdescribed service
UK consumers may have remedies where digital content or a digital service is faulty, unavailable, not as described or not provided with reasonable care and skill. These rights are not excluded by this policy.
5. Promotional periods
You will not be charged during a genuinely free period unless the purchase screen clearly states a different arrangement. Cancel before the disclosed conversion date to avoid the first paid renewal.
6. Data after cancellation
Cancellation and account deletion are different. After cancellation, the household may move to a limited plan or become read-only according to the plan notice. Use the account-deletion route when you want personal data and household content deleted.
