Delete inside the app
Open Settings → Account & Privacy → Delete account. The final app must provide this in-app route before App Store release.
Request deletion on the web
Email info@householdosapp.com from the registered account email. Include the household name and state whether you want only your member profile removed or the entire household deleted.
Identity verification
We may ask for proportionate verification to prevent an unauthorised person deleting another user’s account. Never send your password or full payment-card details.
Household administrators and members
Deleting a member profile may remove that person’s access while leaving shared household records visible to remaining authorised members. Deleting an entire household may require administrator authority and can affect every member.
What is deleted
Subject to verification and legal exceptions, deletion covers the account profile, access credentials, household membership and associated content controlled by the deleting household. Backups may expire on a controlled schedule rather than immediately.
What may be retained
Limited billing, fraud-prevention, security, dispute or legal-compliance records may be retained where required or justified. They should be isolated, access-restricted and deleted when the retention reason ends.
Processing time
We will acknowledge the request and explain the expected process. Data-protection requests are handled within the applicable legal timeframe, subject to lawful extensions.
